PROPOSAL AT A GLANCE

Proposal name:
A Cognitive Model For Mobile Services
Subject:

Industrial systems and Global Enterprise , ISGE, is a consultancy company working in the area of effective application of ICT to process management . ISGE is established in 1989. It cooperates with a network of R&D and consultancy entities in the ME and South Mediterranean regions. Over the last 8 years , ISGE has implemented a set projects funded by the EU , USAID, and UNDP in cooperation with consultancy companies from Spain and Belgium . The target project is dealing with applying the cognitive system engineering to build a model for Man-machine interface in the area of Mobile phone services. . Mobile phones producers and Telecom operators are facing a serious global challenge in product and service selling. Any company needs new service –selling edge , and they know that success of “ services-selling” is very much dependent on the target market behavior and environment , which is continuously changing . Artificial intelligence and robotic science are excellent candidates to build an adpative robotic model that can be used to develop a good Blue-Print for the Mobile-service-solution architecture and services that dynamically fit the users . This is in line with the global  service's personalization trend , and in line with the expected impact from objective 2.1 quoted in the WP of FP7 "" Robust and versatile behaviour of artificial systems in open-ended environments  providing intelligent response in unforeseen situations, and enhancing human machine interaction ""
. EU companies will benefit from the result of this project to provide best-match to the estimated 300 Million users in the ME and South Mediterranean countries. This is a homogeneous target population , where results of the project can easily be rolled-out. The adaptability , sustainability, and ease of rolling-out of the resulting model , are secured through ISGE participation and other entities in the ME. The excellence of the model , on the other hand , is secured through partnership with R&D EU entities

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Proposal Outline:

The project will pass through the following stages:
1. Specifying the model through identification of the critical variables that affect the target Human-Machine interface .
2. Developing the cognitive computer-based model equipped with the required visualization and manipulation algorithms. It will emphasize the environment where the model facilities adapt largely autonomously to the individual of human users as well as to changes in the environment . This last emphasis will secure the evolution of the model as changes are introduced.
3. Validation of the model in selected countries .

Keywords:
