PROPOSAL AT A GLANCE

Proposal name:
Business Data Bus for Dynamic Supply Chain modelling for SMEs in Enlarged EU
Subject:
To develop Business Data Bus (BDB) which integrate massively distributed information resources. BDB have to be suitable for Dynamic Supply Chains (DSC) simulation. To develop tools and technologies for SMEs interoperability on fulfilment of busines orders

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Proposal Outline:
Two events have become the engine of business integration process in Europe:
1. Twelve new member states have joined European Union. EU commission declared objectives for these countries require developing of economics by implementing the newest technologies for collaboration with new and old European countries.
2. XML was developed into data standard. This event caused tremendous acceleration in development of supply chain management and other solutions for interoperability between business partners.

The main tasks of this proposal:
1. Study current B2B Integration (Inter Enterprise Application Integration) implementations and create extended specifications of business data bus suitable for DSC modelling
2. Develop BDB architecture for DSC modelling based on:
• XML based standards;
• Web services;
• B2B Integration .
3. Test and validate created tools and technologies in real business processes of Enlarged Europe SMEs.
