Computing system "Neuromathematics" is a software package, it allows using accessible hardware acceleration of neural network calculations. It can be used for solving complex engineering problems in the fields of aerodynamics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, hydro-acoustics and flow dynamics. [objective IСT-2007.3.4 (a)].
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Proposal Outline:
Project goal: Develop the second version of computing system "Neuromathematics".
In the first version we implemented multi-core scalable and customizable neural network calculations on multiple networked processing elements such as CPU and GPU. In the second version it is necessary to optimize neural network calculations for new generations of CPUs and GPUs and it is planned to extend an area of applications.
Main features:
- “Neuromathematics” provides API (application programming interface) that allows creating additional modules for specific engineering problems;
- API contains functions for neural network algorithms development, cluster and GPU calculations management, GUI design;
- API also provides the ability to create additional modules for parallel computing methods development.
Necessary activities:
- development of additional modules for organization calculations on modern CPUs and GPUs;
- development of neural network algorithms for specific engineering problems.
Expected results: extended version of computing system "Neuromathematics", which support optimized calculation on modern CPUs and GPUs.
