ICT 2008: "I"s TO THE FUTURE, 25th to 27th November 2008.
Ideal-ist will be present at THE Europe's biggest research event for information and communication technologies
- Inventing the Future: ICT technologies for the future
- Innovative Europe: new markets, new sectors, new players
- Impact through Policy
Because there is an important demand of efficient ICT technologies, the ICT conference will gather researchers, leading visionaries from academia, industries and innovators as well as business decision-makers working in the field of digital technologies to talk. Diverse topics will be treated such as Europe’s role in shaping the future internet, ICTs contribution to advancing the sustainability agenda and alternative research paths for future ICT technologies, components and systems.
Indeed, discussing about the future technological evolution is essential as major transformations will happen in the next decade within the technological, industrial and business landscapes surrounding information and communication technologies (ICT). At the same time, other cutting-edge themes will be also explored at ICT 2008.
In 2008, the ICT Event will present Europe’s future priorities for research funding in the ICT area, examine crucial issues of public policy for stimulating innovation through ICT development and uptake and also create opportunities to establish research area business partnerships and simply keep up to date in what is happening in various ICT research fields.
Three main points will be at the heart of all the attention and will beat the rhythm of these 3 days event.
This time, the ICT event wanted to focus on the “I”, first letter of the three main words or giving an open “eye” to the future:
Inventing the future
Innovative Europe and
Impact through Policy
