The main purpose of this Event is networking between European and Egyptian researchers and developers in the ICT field in order to build consortia for the upcoming FP7 ICT Call-3. Participants are expected to have a clear view of their project ideas, documented in an extended abstract.
The event is divided into two sections:
Day 1: November 14th, 2007
The first day will focus on ICT Call 3 topics with special focus on Challenge 4: Digital libraries and content. Participants will provide presentations about their ideas to the audience to build their consortium.
Day 2: November 15th, 2007
The second day will focus on the Natural Language Processing (NLP) as a strong component related to the Digital Libraries challenge of ICT FP7. This day is dedicated to promoting NLP as one of the local research priorities and linking it to the FP7.
