Just in time for the 5th ICT Call, which will be launched at the end of July, Ideal-ist presents its new software tool as an additional service to the successful partner search system:
This newly developed software is implemented on the www.ideal-ist.net website and offers the following possibilities:

• to promote profile and collaboration offers and requests
• to get in touch with other proposers
• to book meetings with potential project partners on-line
• to actively participate in a Face2Face event. To present, discuss and develop new project ideas for ICT in a cross-border environment as well as pursue business opportunities.

Face2Face Brokerage Tool is offered to all registered proposers with the partner search system and vice versa, registered Face2Face members also have full access to all other Ideal-ist services.

Users will have to log in only once and can then proceed to the services they want : Partner search system or Face2Face Brokerage Tool.

It is intended to transfer some of the data collected through the Face2Face brokerage service of Ideal-ist for the benefit of Face2Face members of CORDIS. Proposers are offered, if they agree, an added opportunity to achieve further visibility through the CORDIS web portal and use the services offered by CORDIS.

Furthermore, the Face2Face Brokerage Tool will be used to plan pre-scheduled meetings at events between researchers, delegates from universities, government and laboratories, big companies and SMEs who want to find project partners or want to join a project from countries all over the world participating in the 7th EU framework programme. An intelligent search matching algorithm-software allows automatic allocation of timeslots for Face2Face meetings and simplifies the organisation of brokerage events as well as the success rate for finding appropriate partners.

This event specific brokerage tool enables Face2Face members to match their ICT interests, expertise, collaboration offers and requests with those of other Face2Face members.

After filling in the relevant sections, Face2Face members can promote their know-how and skills, business and research interests and find potential partners. Face2Face members profiles and collaboration offers/requests will be quality-checked just as the partner search system
By browsing or searching those with similar or complementary expertise, ICT interest, company mission, Face2Face members can match their interests with other Face2Face members, as well as look for open partner searches or post one in the Research as well as Business field by indicating type and a description of a collaboration offer/request and partner profile sought.

Face2Face members will be supported throughout by a dedicated personal assistance from the Ideal-ist Face2Face team.
